8 new Math scores are considered combined with transcripts to enter the School of Economics, VNU Hanoi

Candidates applying for English certificate combined with academic transcript to the University of Economics, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, in addition to IELTS from 5.5, must achieve a minimum score of 8 in Math in the high school graduation exam.

This is one of the notable points in the 2025 university admission plan, just announced by the University of Economics , Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

This year's enrollment season, the University of Economics, Vietnam National University, Hanoi will enroll 2,500 full-time undergraduate students trained domestically and 500 full-time undergraduate students trained in cooperation with foreign partners.

The school uses 6 admission methods, including: admission combined with transcripts and international certificates; considering transcripts; considering international certificates; considering candidates who graduated from high school abroad; considering high school graduation exam results; considering results of Hanoi National University's competency assessment exam.

In particular, with the admission method based on high school graduation exam results, the school considers 8 groups, including A01 (Math, Physics, English), D01 (Math, Literature, English), D09 (Math, History, English), D10 (Math, Geography, English), C01 (Math, Literature, Physics), C03 (Math, Literature, History), C04 (Math, Literature, Geography), X01 (Math, Literature, Economic and LegalEducation ).

With the method of considering transcripts, the school considers admission based on a combination of the average high school academic results and the total score of 3 subjects for the entire 12th grade year in 9 groups (A01, D01, D09, D10, C01 C03, C04, X01, D08) and the results of international English certificates.

With the admission method combining transcripts with international certificates, the school requires considering transcripts of 6 semesters of the remaining 2 subjects (except English) belonging to 4 admission groups (D01, A01, D09, D10).

In addition to the requirement of having an IELTS certificate of 5.5 or higher or a TOEFL iBT of 72 or higher, candidates need to achieve a minimum score of 8 points in Math in the high school graduation exam or a minimum score of 15 points in 2 subjects (Math, Literature) in the high school graduation exam.

Regarding the school's tuition fees for the 2025 school year, for full-time domestic university students, the expected tuition fee is about 46 million VND/first year; each year thereafter, it will increase by 2 million VND. Compared to last year, the tuition fee increased by about 2 million VND/year.

For full-time university students majoring in Business Administration for sports talents, the estimated tuition fee is 126 million VND/student/course, an increase of about 28 million VND compared to last year's enrollment.

For the Business Administration program in cooperation with foreign training, the full course tuition ranges from 362-369 million VND/student (not including scholarships).

Last year, the school's benchmark score was from 33.1 to 33.62 (on a 40-point scale). Finance - Banking had the highest benchmark score; Accounting had the lowest.
