12th grade female student in Hai Phong was slapped and insulted by her teacher in front of the class

On June 2, the leader of the Hai Phong Department of Education and Training said that he had directed the Department Inspectorate and the Board of Directors of Einstein High School (Hai Phong City) to handle the case of a 12th grade female student being abused and insulted by her math teacher in the middle of class.

Previously, according to the reflection of Ms. NTD, a parent whose daughter is studying in class 12A7 at Einstein High School, in the morning class on May 27, her daughter was slapped in the face by the math teacher and scolded as "stupid, ignorant, lazy..." because the female student did the wrong test. The entire incident took place in front of the whole class and was recorded by the class camera.

After the incident, Ms. D's child returned home and showed signs of psychological abnormalities. When she learned the cause, Ms. D. called the homeroom teacher to discuss, then called the Math teacher to request a resolution to the incident, but received no response.

On May 28, Ms. D. went to the school to request a meeting with the Principal to make a complaint, but without any results, Ms. D. had to ask the security guard to forward the petition and her daughter's report to the school through the security guard. At the same time, Ms. D. continued to file a complaint with the police and sent it to the leaders of the Hai Phong Department of Education and Training.

According to the female student's parents, the school representative later visited the family and talked to them over the phone but was not receptive. The attitude of Ms. Dong Thi Hoa - the school's principal made the family even more upset.

According to the representative of the Hai Phong Department of Education and Training, upon receiving the information, the Department's leaders directed the Department Inspectorate to intervene and organize a meeting with the parties to verify and clarify.

At the meeting, Principal Dong Thi Hoa admitted that the school and herself were wrong in their activities and behavior.

Then, on June 2, the Board of Directors of Einstein High School held a meeting with the participation of the math teacher, the abused and insulted female student, and the student's parents.

Principal Dong Thi Hoa and the Math teacher admitted their mistakes and apologized to the parents, the abused student, and the entire class.

It is known that the female student's family has accepted the apology and is considering withdrawing the petition sent to the Hai Phong Police and Department of Education and Training at the request of the Board of Directors of Einstein High School.
