Attending this exchange program, there were more than 200 ethnic minority students from 12 training institutions of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in the Southern region: Ho Chi Minh City University of Culture; Ho Chi Minh City University of Fine Arts; Ho Chi Minh City University of Sports; Ho Chi Minh City University of Theater and Cinema; Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music; Dong Nai College of Decorative Arts; Vung Tau College of Tourism; Da Lat College of Tourism; Can Tho College of Tourism; Ho Chi Minh City Dance College; Can Tho National Sports Training Center; Can Tho City High School for Gifted Sports.
The exchange program includes main activities: Incense offering ceremony at Hung King Temple, Competitions (camp gate, sports, art performances), Exchange Program, Campfire Program and Returning to the Source Program.
In particular, on the evening of May 30, the Organizing Committee organized a cultural exchange program, summarized the awards of the competitions and awarded Vu A Dinh scholarships to outstanding ethnic minority students who achieved many outstanding achievements in the 2023-2024 school year; Awarded scholarships to outstanding ethnic minority students who achieved many outstanding achievements in the 2023-2024 school year.
Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Hoang Dao Cuong, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, affirmed that ethnic minority students are the embodiment of aspirations and promises of lands with many difficulties, the ones who bring culture, connect knowledge, and spread the values of truth, goodness, beauty, dignity, and spirit of the Vietnamese people to the world.
Comrade Hoang Dao Cuong hopes that the students will continue to study continuously, practice physical fitness, ethics, life skills and integrate internationally.
