The first tournament entering its 6th season will take place from November 29 to December 1 in Phan Thiet, Binh Thuan province. This is a playground for the community of people who love off-road racing in Vietnam. From this tournament, excellent individuals and racing teams will be selected to participate in professional racing tournaments in the region and internationally.
In the 6th season, there will be 2 competition categories: semi-professional and professional. In which, the "semi-professional" playground has a small change when the registered teams can choose upgraded or original cars. However, the ability to upgrade cars will be limited within the tournament's regulations.

Mr. Cao Anh Minh, General Director of Ho Chi Minh City Television (HTV), shared: "HTV Challenge Cup 2024 is a tournament for off-road vehicle enthusiasts, while also promoting tourism for localities.
This year's race track is beautifully designed on the red sand terrain of Phan Thiet, next to the blue beach. At the same time, the tournament also has a record number of registered teams, up to 80 teams from many provinces and cities across the country such as Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, Binh Thuan, Dong Nai, Hanoi , Ha Tinh, Lam Dong, Ninh Thuan, Ho Chi Minh City, Vung Tau...".
The tournament with 2 semi-professional and professional contents along with an interesting race track and course on red sand dunes promises to bring many challenges, requiring skills to handle complex terrain such as: deep holes, staggered holes, swamps, cliffs... or skills to handle speed on sandy terrain.

The prize money for the professional championship is 100 million VND and the semi-professional championship is 80 million VND.
In addition to the competitive nature of sports, the tournament also aims to spread the message of protecting the marine environment, traffic safety and promoting cultural and tourism values for the locality.
