Stocks tomorrow, June 6: Selling pressure continues?

(NLDO) - Liquidity in sessions 5-6 decreased by about 20%, reflecting investors' cautious sentiment as selling pressure increased.

At the end of the session on June 5, VN-Index closed at 1,342.09 points, down 3.65 points (equivalent to 0.27%).

In the trading session on June 5, VN-Index opened slightly higher thanks to the return and maintenance of demand. However, the increase quickly weakened shortly after. Near the end of the morning session, demand increased again, helping the index narrow the decline.

In the afternoon session, the market continued to fluctuate as selling pressure increased, causing the VN-Index to fall by about 9 points at times. However, in the middle of the afternoon session, strong demand in some large-cap stocks helped the index narrow its decline. Notably, REE increased by 7%, VGC increased by 4.4%, STB increased by 0.85%, and MSN maintained an increase of over 2%, contributing to supporting the market.

At the end of the session, VN-Index closed at 1,342.09 points, down 3.65 points (equivalent to 0.27%). Foreign investors continued to net sell with a total value of 474.77 billion VND, focusing on STB, VHM, and VIC.

Some securities companies said that liquidity decreased by about 20% in sessions 5-6 compared to the previous session, showing investors' caution as selling pressure increased. With the current developments, the market is likely to continue to fluctuate in the coming sessions.
