Vietnamese women's football has won the SEA Games 8 times, reached the quarter-finals of the 2018 Asiad, and participated in the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup.

Representatives of international organizations all highly appreciated the orientation of VFF. Mr. Simon Toselli (FIFA) shared: “VFF has great potential and a clear vision. This strategy will open up many opportunities for girls and women not only in football but also in life".
