Agribank Tay Giang district branch sponsors 600 million VND to eliminate temporary houses

(QNO) - On the morning of May 28, the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank) Tay Giang District Branch held a ceremony to present donations for charity houses under the program to support the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the district.

At the program, Agribank Tay Giang district branch and leaders of 3 communes Avuong, Atieng, Lang signed a memorandum of sponsorship to 10 houses for 10 poor households with a total cost of 600 million VND. Of which, Avuong commune has 2 houses, Atieng commune has 4 houses and Lang commune has 4 houses.

Mr. Ha Duc Son - Director of Agribank Tay Giang District Branch said that the support fund is taken from the salaries of the unit's staff and business profits. Thereby contributing to the completion of the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Tay Giang District.

It is known that every year, Agribank Tay Giang district branch also donates livelihoods (plant seeds, livestock) to Lang commune and gives gifts to poor people on holidays and Tet with a budget of 100 - 150 million VND.
