On June 3, at the United Nations headquarters in New York, USA, the 2025 UN International Bazaar took place, organized by the United Nations Ladies and Gentlemen's Club.
The event brought together nearly 60 booths introducing handicraft products and culinary specialties of member countries, attracting the participation of hundreds of international visitors and many Ambassadors and diplomatic officials from United Nations Delegations and agencies.
The "Vietnamese Kitchen" booth was warmly welcomed by all groups and ages attending this year's Fair. |
Continuing the annual tradition, the Delegation and the Association of Vietnamese Wives and Husbands in New York participated in the Fair with two booths - "Vietnamese Handicrafts" and "Vietnamese Kitchen".
Sophisticated and traditional handicraft products, especially ceramics, lacquerware, brocade and silk, continue to attract special attention from international friends. Among them, the two most popular “hand-made in Vietnam” products this time are Chu Dau ceramic vases and Van Phuc silk scarves.
The “Vietnamese Kitchen” booth was once again warmly welcomed by all groups and ages attending this year’s Fair, with a menu combining tradition and integration, including shrimp and vegetarian spring rolls, various grilled meat skewers, sandwiches, iced milk coffee, iced lemon tea, etc. The dishes and drinks were carefully prepared by the wives and husbands of officials from Vietnamese representative agencies in New York, with a strong Vietnamese flavor, fresh and attractive.
At the end of the 2025 United Nations International Cultural and Culinary Fair, Vietnam was one of the member countries that contributed the most to the Organizing Committee's Charity Fund from product sales revenue.
