This is an activity to celebrate the 73rd anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Drama Theater (1952-2025), taking place from November 8 to December 20.
Each play brings a slice of a soldier's life with different emotions, creating a majestic, humane and artistic stage picture.

Among them, “White Night” by the late author Luu Quang Ha, directed by People’s Artist Xuan Bac, depicts the image of President Ho Chi Minh in a very special context. The work is based on a true story from the 1950s, when the whole nation devoted human and material resources to the resistance war. Amidst the fire and ideals, the play reveals haunting hidden corners – where the boundary between faith and fall, sacrifice and pleasure becomes fragile to the point of heartache.

The play “Black Panther Squad” by writer Chu Lai, directed by People’s Artist Anh Tu, is as captivating as an action movie on stage. The play tells a breathtaking story about brave soldiers, from the bomb-filled battlefield to the everyday front, where the characters are uncompromisingly committed in the battle between justice and darkness. Fast-paced, thrilling and full of surprises, the play keeps the audience glued to their seats.
The play “Truong Son Storm” by author Truong Minh Phuong, directed by People’s Artist Anh Tu, brings a tragic and touching story, recreating the resilient spirit of the Vietnamese people amidst the bombs and bullets of war. The play also tells a story of human love after the war, full of humanity and emotion.

Sharing about the program, Meritorious Artist Kieu Minh Hieu, Director of the Vietnam Drama Theater, said, “Echoes of Soldiers” is an art project that the theater has devoted a lot of effort to bring to the public moments of sublimation, pride and emotion. The three plays, all about the theme of revolutionary war, have won many high awards at national theater festivals and have always been in the favorite repertoire of the Vietnam Drama Theater over the years. Each performance has been warmly welcomed by the audience.
With this program, the organizing team has focused on renewing the performance format, combining traditional stage and modern projection technology to suit audience groups, especially young people.
Specifically, “Black Panther Squad” will be performed at 8pm on November 8 and 15; “White Night” will be performed at 8pm on November 29 and December 20; “Truong Son Storm” will be performed at 8pm on December 6 and 13 at the Vietnam Drama Theater (No. 1 Trang Tien, Cua Nam Ward, Hanoi ).
