Throughout the journey of building and defending the country of the Vietnamese people, poetry has always been the voice of the national soul, silent but strong, simple but profound. Revolutionary poetry is a powerful source, carrying within it ideals, beliefs and aspirations for independence and freedom. Revolutionary poetry, especially verses written from the trenches, from the hearts of soldiers, have created a poetry that bears the shape of the country. Poets and musicians do not stand outside the war but are real soldiers, holding guns to protect the Fatherland and holding pens to record the pages of history in poetry and music.

Carrying sincere emotions and noble ideals, the poet has portrayed the image of the country through each verse, which is both authentic, heroic, profound and sacred. These are works of art that at the same time create historical marks through poetry, contributing to further glorifying the glorious tradition and noble qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers in war as well as in peacetime.
