Amway Vietnam inaugurates million-dollar central warehouse in Ho Chi Minh City

Amway Vietnam, the leading health care brand, has just officially inaugurated the Amway Vietnam Central Warehouse in Binh Duong Ward, Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Binh Duong). With a total estimated investment and operating cost of 12 million USD (equivalent to 300 billion VND) in 5 years and an area of ​​over 5,000 m², the Amway Vietnam Central Warehouse is considered a breakthrough strategic project.

The project marks an important milestone in Amway Vietnam's journey of transforming its business model, while strengthening its modern logistics platform to meet strong growth needs in the next 5 years.

The Inauguration Ceremony of the Central Warehouse continues to strongly affirm Amway Group's long-term investment commitment in Vietnam, one of the ten markets with the largest revenue globally. This investment is placed within the overall A70 strategy. (70th Anniversary of Amway Corporation), plays a pivotal role in helping Amway build a foundation for sustainable, effective and more competitive growth in the region.

The Central Warehouse is over 5,000 m² wide, with a storage capacity of approximately 3,500 standard pallets, a 50% increase in capacity compared to the current warehouse.

Superior performance : Increased speed, enhanced experience

The Central Warehouse is over 5,000 m² in size, with a storage capacity of approximately 3,500 standard pallets, a 50% increase in capacity compared to the current warehouse. The cool storage area is invested in accordance with strict standards (18–24°C, humidity 40–70%) to ensure optimal preservation quality for healthcare products.

Amway has upgraded its advanced warehouse management system (WMS) and integrated groundbreaking Pick-to-Light technology. This technology is key to improving speed, accuracy and order processing capacity, especially during peak seasons. Aiming for automation, the secondary labeling area has a processing capacity of up to 8 million units/year, while the Home delivery order processing area can handle about 6 million units/year.

The project is designed with energy-saving systems, making the most of natural light and strictly adhering to global standards on electricity, fire prevention and lighting. At the same time, Amway is promoting the transition to friendlier materials in the supply chain, including the use of recycled bags and bio-material airbags to minimize plastic waste. At the same time, Amway also pays special attention to employee welfare by investing in equipment to support a safe and comfortable working environment, from ceiling fans to industrial air conditioners in the warehouse. These efforts clearly demonstrate Amway's sustainable development orientation and long-term commitment to protecting the planet as well as creating a professional and employee-oriented working environment.
