To create a new attraction for locals and tourists during the summer of 2024, the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang's tourist beaches is organizing a "Sea Flower Street" along the sidewalks and beaches of Vo Nguyen Giap Street, from the Vo Van Kiet intersection to Sao Bien beach, featuring 13 attractive decorative clusters. The flower street is designed artistically, with colorful floral decorations inspired by vibrant tropical flowers, arranged artistically and illuminated along the coastal route. The Da Nang Sea Flower Street 2024 will add more color to Da Nang's coastal landscape, complementing the already well-maintained greenery, creating attractive focal points.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Vu, Head of the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang's tourist beaches, said that in implementing the city's People's Committee's plan for the Da Nang Beach Flower Street 2024, the Management Board is coordinating with relevant units to decorate the "Da Nang Beach Flower Street 2024" and open it to the public and tourists from July 5-7. On this occasion, the unit also calls on businesses operating on the beach to cooperate with the management board in decorating with flowers and other appropriate means to make the beach flower street more beautiful, in addition to ensuring environmental hygiene in their business areas.

The "Da Nang Beach Flower Street" project is organized along the beach sidewalk of Vo Nguyen Giap Street with clusters of colorful flowers and foliage decorations, including: Cluster 1, a wind-powered flower garden model on the sand in front of Lang Ong Park, Phuoc My Ward, Son Tra District (slightly to the south). Inspired by the flower street concept, but rendered using modern materials like stainless steel, the wind-powered flower garden can rotate with the sea breeze, creating a unique landscape highlight in the middle of the beach. The entire cluster is artistically illuminated at night.

Cluster 2, the DANANG BEACH sign, is located south of Lang Ong Park (Vo Van Kiet intersection), Phuoc My ward, Son Tra district. This sign serves as a strong landmark, clearly identifying the area for residents and tourists traveling from Vo Nguyen Giap and Vo Van Kiet roads. Cluster 3, themed "Fish Strolling on the Beach," is situated in front of the Grand Tourane Hotel and constructed from recycled old bicycles, combined with colorful flowers and foliage. Cluster 4, themed "Sailboats," is located in front of the My Khe Hotel and uses recycled materials such as wood, fabric, and netting, combined with colorful flowers and foliage. Cluster 5, themed "Lotus Fishing Nets," is located in front of the T20 guesthouse and features flowers made from fishing nets, with fresh flowers as stamens, combined with colorful flowers and foliage.

Cluster 6, themed "Fish Habitat," located in front of My Khe 2 Hotel, features wood or plastic materials combined with colorful floral and leaf decorations. Cluster 7, themed "Paper Flower Umbrella," also located in front of My Khe 2 Hotel, uses pre-shaped flowering plants from the nursery, combined with colorful floral and leaf decorations. Cluster 8, themed "Marine Life Lanterns," located in front of NESTA Hotel, uses iron or acrylic (or stainless steel) frames, combined with colorful floral and leaf decorations. Cluster 9, themed "Floral Waves," located in front of Muong Thanh Hotel, uses materials shaped like ocean waves, combined with colorful floral and leaf decorations.

Cluster 10, themed "Fish Fin Flowers," is located in front of the Lang Ghe Bien restaurant, featuring fish fin sculptures combined with colorful flowers and leaves. Cluster 11, themed "Starfish Flowers," is also located in front of the Lang Ghe Bien restaurant, featuring starfish sculptures combined with colorful flowers and leaves. Cluster 12, themed "Flower Clock," is located in front of the An Thuong tourist street park, featuring clock faces combined with colorful flowers and leaves. Cluster 13, themed "Flower Archway," is located at the entrance and exit of the coastal promenade, at the Vo Van Kiet intersection and the sidewalk at the Hoang Ke Viem intersection.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Quynh An, a tourist from Phu Tho , said that her whole family traveled to Da Nang during the 2024 International Fireworks Festival. Coincidentally, the city was also organizing the Da Nang Sea Flower Street 2024 at this time, featuring many impressive and beautiful designs. Ms. Hwang Seo Jin, a tourist from South Korea, said: “I am extremely excited to experience this new flower street for the first time. Even before its official opening, observing the construction process, I found it incredibly beautiful, with diverse and rich miniature and large-scale models and design materials…”

Meanwhile, Ms. Tran Phan Diem Hang, a tourist from Da Lat city (Lam Dong province), shared: “I came to Da Nang to visit relatives and heard people praising the Da Nang Beach Flower Street 2024 and the art installations on the beaches, so I came to see it. It is truly beautiful and magnificent, leaving me very impressed with Da Nang city.”
