Antony shines as Real Betis meet Chelsea in Conference League final

In the first leg, Fiorentina lost 1-2 to Real Betis away at Benito Villamarin. Therefore, they want to take advantage of home field to "turn the tables" in the second leg. The proof is that Fiorentina increased the speed of attack right from the start of the match.

But when Fiorentina still couldn't penetrate the opponent's net, they were doused with cold water when Antony's superb free-kick gave Real Betis a 1-0 lead in the 30th minute.

However, Robin Gosens then scored consecutive goals in the 34th and 42nd minutes to help Fiorentina take the lead 2-1. This score remained the same until the end of the official 90 minutes of play and the two teams tied 3-3 after two matches, so an additional 30 minutes of extra time had to be played.

In the 7th minute of the first extra time, Real Betis had a quick counter-attack and Antony broke free to pass to Ezzalzouli who scored the decisive goal to help Real Betis qualify for the final.

In the other semi-final, Chelsea won 1-0 against Djurgardens IF in the second leg. Thus, after two matches, Chelsea won 5-1 on aggregate to advance to the final.

The Conference League final between Real Betis and Chelsea will take place in Wrocław, Poland on May 28.
