Warm clothes of love at the border school in Huong Hoa, Quang Tri

The days before the Lunar New Year of Quy Mao 2023, is an opportunity for the staff and youth union members of the Planning Staff Department, Economic - Defense Group (KT-QP) 337 to carry out a gift-giving program for students at schools in Huong Viet and Huong Phung communes, Huong Hoa district, Quang Tri province, a border district in the North bordering Quang Binh province, and in the South and West bordering the Lao People's Democratic Republic.

The program "Warm clothes of love" for students at schools was created from the mobilization and contributions of cadres, youth union members of the Staff - Planning Department, philanthropists, and benefactors with the desire to share the difficulties with students at schools with warm clothes and school supplies when Tet comes. Accordingly, 50 new warm clothes, 300 old warm clothes, and many school supplies, candies... with a total value of more than 10 million VND have come to students at schools in Trang Ta Puong village, Huong Viet commune; A Soc village, Huong Lap commune and Chenh Venh village, Xa Ry village, Huong Phung commune, Huong Hoa district, Quang Tri province.

Connecting by phone with Nguyen Thi My Hien, currently working in Da Nang , who directly supported 50 sets of warm clothes for the children, Hien confided: “I am very happy that the gifts have arrived to the students on the occasion of Tet and Spring. In the coming time, I and everyone will try to connect with many sponsors to have more support for the students to have better conditions in the learning process.

Teacher Phan My Le, Vice Principal of Huong Lap Kindergarten, Huong Hoa District shared: Huong Lap is a particularly difficult commune in Huong Hoa District. The lives of the people here are still difficult, so students face many shortages in their daily activities and studies. In winter, many students do not have enough warm clothes to wear, do not have warm beds to sleep in... Seeing the children happy and joyful when receiving warm clothes from the members of the Economic-Defense Force 337, the teachers are also happier. Because this Tet, if the children have warm clothes to wear, they will feel less cold when going to school and at home. The teachers and students of the school thank the soldiers of the Economic-Defense Force 337 and the benefactors very much."

Witnessing the joy and happiness through the eyes and smiles of the children when receiving small gifts and warm clothes warmed the hearts of all the members of the group. It can be said that although the material things are not much, the hearts of the members, youth and benefactors for the children here are very great. Hopefully, that love and warmth will help the children overcome difficulties, study with peace of mind, and cultivate kindness so that in the future they will become useful people for society./.
