"Ao dai conveys love" - ​​Spreading the spirit of sharing

The program "Ao dai to send love" gives Ao dai to female union members and workers.

Accordingly, Chau Thanh District Labor Federation mobilized cadres, workers, civil servants and local people to donate used but new and clean ao dai. After receiving them, the District Labor Federation organized sorting, washing and giving them to union members and workers in difficult circumstances.

The program not only brings joy to the recipients, but also creates community connections and fosters a spirit of mutual love. Up to now, Chau Thanh District Labor Federation has organized 4 donation sessions, with a total of nearly 4,000 Ao Dai and 700 sets of fabric.

Vice President of Chau Thanh District Labor Federation Tran Thuy Ai Nhan shared: “Through the program, female workers and laborers are very excited to receive Ao Dai to serve their lives, especially during holidays and Tet. We will continue to expand the program to communes, helping more women have the opportunity to own Ao Dai.”

The program “Ao Dai Giao Giao Yeu Thuong” not only brings joy, but also helps women to be more confident in life, especially during festivals and important events. Ao Dai, whether new or used, carry the affection and respect from the giver to the receiver, thereby spreading solidarity and love in the community.

Sharing her feelings when receiving the ao dai from the program, Ms. Vo Thi Phuong (worker at Dai Thanh Company Limited) expressed: “I really like wearing ao dai but I don’t have the conditions to make one. When I receive a beautiful ao dai, I will wear it to funerals, pagodas and on holidays. I am really happy and touched.”

Ms. Bui Thi Ngoc Lieu (Song Thuan commune, Chau Thanh district) shared: “Thanks to this program, I have the opportunity to wear the traditional Vietnamese ao dai. I rarely have the opportunity to make ao dai, so when I was given an ao dai, I was very excited. I hope that in the future, the District Labor Federation will continue to maintain this program so that women have more opportunities to receive charming ao dai.”

Not only does it help female workers have more joy and confidence when wearing traditional costumes on important occasions, the program also affirms the spirit of sharing, humanity and solidarity of the Union organization.
