Over the past week, Ms. Mai Ngoc Mai (residing in Hoc Mon District, Ho Chi Minh City) has been busy browsing online stores to find soldier costumes for her two sons. She said that her family plans to go to the city center together to participate in activities during the great holiday, which many people jokingly call the 'national concert'.

"I want my children to wear military uniforms to both join in the festive atmosphere and give them memorable childhood moments," Ms. Mai shared.

Not only did she buy things for her child, she also ordered matching clothes for her husband, including a pair of t-shirts printed with the red flag and yellow star, along with accessories such as small hand-held flags, scarves, and hats shaped like the national flag.

“It only happens once every 50 years, so I want my whole family to dress up, join the bustling crowd, and fully enjoy the historical atmosphere,” she said.

Data from the YouNet ECI e-commerce market data analysis platform shows that, in addition to discussions revolving around rehearsal videos such as the "handsomeness" of military soldiers, "where to watch beautiful things?", "is there a livestream"..., the online community is also very interested in products that "go along" with national concerts such as T-shirts printed with the national flag, and accessories such as keychains, national flag crochet, national flag face stickers...

Specifically, YouNet ECI recorded that the top 38 best-selling booths of products responding to the April 30 holiday on TikTok Shop sold more than 161,000 fashion and accessory products, bringing in revenue of 13.7 billion VND.

In which, the fashion industry has absolute dominance, selling 100,762 products (accounting for 62.6% of total products) and earning 10.97 billion VND (accounting for 80.03% of revenue).

Notably, the group of patriotic T-shirts with meaningful motifs and images about the holiday such as national flags, maps, patriotic slogans, etc. continuously appeared in million-view videos, becoming the main product in the fashion group on this occasion.

According to Younet, in the 4th week of April 2025 alone, the fashion product group's revenue increased from 3 - 5.7 billion VND in the 3rd week of April, and is expected to continue to increase as the day of the grand ceremony approaches.

In addition to T-shirts, "patriotic accessories" with the theme of the festival such as keychains, crochet hooks, flag stickers, hand-held flags, etc. also sell very well on e-commerce platforms.

The accessory product group, although having a lower growth rate, also increased strongly and peaked in the second week of April with revenue of 1.1 billion VND.

The most popular selling price of the fashion group is 130,000 VND/product, and the accessories group is 27,000 VND/product.

According to data from the social media listening platform SocialHeat (YouNet Media), from March 23 to April 19, the amount of news and discussion videos related to the series of events celebrating the April 30th holiday increased dramatically.

In particular, the "national concert" event, the parade, and the march to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day attracted more than 270,460 users to participate in the discussion, creating 2.07 million discussions and 14.67 million interactions.
