At the program, the Women's Union of Da Lat City presented 121 gifts, each worth 5 million VND, to women and children in especially difficult circumstances, women with serious illnesses, women with disabilities, and orphans in the city from the fund "Supporting women in difficulty to develop the economy ".

At the same time, 60 gifts, each worth 1 million VND, were presented to female members with serious illnesses, drawn from the fund "Supporting women with serious illnesses". The total value of the gifts presented at the program was 665 million VND.

Over the years, social security work has always been identified by the Da Lat City Women's Union as one of the key tasks, demonstrating the role and responsibility of the organization in caring for the material and spiritual life of women and children, especially the vulnerable groups in society.

With the motto "Leave no one behind", the Women's Union at all levels from the city to the grassroots level has implemented many practical and effective activities, contributing positively to the program of sustainable poverty reduction and building new rural areas and civilized urban areas. Including the model of building a fund "Savings for poor women" launched by the Women's Union of Da Lat City (Term VII) in 1996 in response to the call for the whole country to respond to "Savings for poor women" deployed by the Central Women's Union of Vietnam in response to the patriotic emulation movement launched by the Central Union "Follow Uncle Ho, practice saving to help each other reduce poverty sustainably".
Since the first years, the Association has encouraged each cadre and member to deposit 10,000 VND or more without interest. After nearly 30 years of operation, the Association has now repaid all mobilized resources, continued to maintain interest rates and developed with an amount of nearly 610 million VND. Thereby, helping female members in difficult circumstances to borrow capital to invest in production, livestock, and small business to develop the family economy, helping women to improve their lives, escape poverty, contributing to reducing and completely eliminating the rate of poor households in the city.
