Apply enhanced aviation security control measures on the occasion of September 2

On the afternoon of August 15, information from the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam said that the Immigration Department of the Ministry of Public Security has just issued a decision to apply enhanced aviation security control measures on the occasion of the September 2 holiday.

From August 26, 2025 to September 4, 2025, enhanced aviation security control measures at level 01 will be applied at airports, airfields, and air traffic service facilities nationwide. In addition, from August 12, 2025 to August 25, 2025 and from September 5, 2025 to September 7, 2025, a number of measures to enhance aviation security will be applied to units with aviation security control forces, such as: Increasing the frequency of patrols, security surveillance by cameras in public areas, controlling luggage without owner identification; regularly checking trash cans, restrooms, and hidden places.

Strengthen aviation security control.

Increase the frequency of random checks and control of entry and exit to restricted areas; increase screening of passengers, carry-on baggage, checked baggage, non-passengers and items brought in and out of restricted areas. At the same time, increase the time and frequency of checks and supervision of the command and management system at all levels.

The Immigration Department requires agencies and units to deploy appropriate enhanced aviation security control measures. Border police at Noi Bai, Da Nang , Tan Son Nhat, Cam Ranh, Phu Quoc international airports; Immigration management offices of the police of the remaining provinces and cities with airports report daily to the Immigration Department according to regulations.
