This integrated system, which includes destination information, reviews, and travel booking tools, is expected to become a strategic step in the digitalization of Vietnam's tourism industry.
The Vietnam National Tourism Administration, NDA, and strategic partners such as Sun Group, Visa, Mastercard, Trip.com, etc., have signed a memorandum of understanding to cooperate in developing Visit Vietnam. The platform will serve as a central hub connecting data between management agencies, businesses, and tourists, forming a transparent, smart, and safe tourism ecosystem.
Data on the platform will be contributed by government agencies, the business community, and tourists themselves.
Visit Vietnam utilizes many advanced technologies such as the AI Travel Assistant virtual travel assistant to support planning and automatic booking; the NDAchain.vn platform for decentralized authentication; and security through Blockchain and Tokenization technology. The system comprehensively integrates transportation, accommodation, food , and loyalty programs, ensuring the highest level of reliability and information security.

Major Dao Duc Trieu, Secretary General of the NDA, emphasized: "This is an important step in forming a public-private tourism data ecosystem, connecting multiple data sources, and simultaneously serving three goals: management, business, and enhancing the visitor experience."
Mr. Nguyen Trung Khanh, Director of the National Tourism Administration, stated that by 2025, the tourism industry is tasked with welcoming 25 million international visitors and 150 million domestic visitors, contributing to GDP growth of 8.3-8.5%. Applying technology and digital transformation are key solutions to maintain growth momentum, improve service quality, and enhance the competitiveness of Vietnam as a tourist destination.
Mr. Khanh informed that the development roadmap for Visit Vietnam has been clearly defined. Accordingly, in October, the National Data Platform and Tourism Dashboard version 1.0 will be launched for the Government; in the second quarter of 2026, it will be opened to the public with a blockchain-based authentication rating system and a trip planning tool.
Notably, by APEC 2027, the platform will integrate direct service booking, AI-powered itinerary suggestions, and provide data services (DaaS) for businesses.
Visit Vietnam's long-term vision is to become a comprehensive travel "super app," elevating Vietnamese tourism to an international level.
