A fire broke out on the morning of May 12 at a large shopping mall in Warsaw, Poland. The Marywilska 44 mall has 1,400 stalls and is located in the Bialoleka district. This is the place where many Vietnamese traders do business in the Polish capital.
Firefighters said more than 80% of the Marywilska 44 shopping complex was on fire and 50 teams, including chemical and environmental rescue specialists, were carrying out rescue operations.

Police said there were no reports of injuries. Authorities also sent text messages to Warsaw residents warning them of the fire and asking them to keep their windows closed at home.
Footage taken by media showed flames and thick black smoke billowing across the area. According to local media, the fire has been largely brought under control but the damage to the goods inside is quite serious.
