Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Tuyet re-elected President of the Farmers' Association of Bac Ninh province

On September 23, the 10th Congress of the Farmers' Association of Bac Ninh province, term 2023 - 2028, officially opened at Kinh Bac Cultural Center, Bac Ninh City, with the spirit of "Solidarity - Democracy - Creativity - Cooperation - Development". The Congress was attended by 229 official delegates, representing more than 174,000 farmer members in the province.

At the opening session, the Congress announced the election results of the Executive Committee of the Bac Ninh Provincial Farmers' Association for the 10th term, 2023 - 2028. Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Tuyet - President of the Bac Ninh Provincial Farmers' Association for the 9th term was re-elected to hold the position of President of the Bac Ninh Provincial Farmers' Association for the 10th term, 2023 - 2028 term.

Mr. Nguyen Cong Thao and Mr. Dao Duy Huu were re-elected as Vice Presidents of the Bac Ninh Provincial Farmers' Association for the 10th term, 2023 - 2028 term.

Previously, on September 22, the 10th Congress of the Farmers' Association of Bac Ninh province for the 2023-2028 term held its first working day.

With a democratic, serious and responsible spirit, the Congress voted to elect 27 comrades to the Executive Committee of the Bac Ninh Provincial Farmers' Association for the 10th term, 2023 - 2028; elected 9 comrades to the Standing Committee of the Bac Ninh Provincial Farmers' Association for the 10th term, 2023 - 2028; elected a delegation of 16 comrades and 2 alternate delegates to attend the 8th National Congress of the Vietnam Farmers' Association.

Speaking at the Congress, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Dinh - Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union expressed his high agreement with the Political Report and Review Report of the 9th Executive Committee presented to the 10th Congress of the Bac Ninh Farmers' Union.

During the 2018 - 2023 term, Farmers' Associations at all levels in Bac Ninh province have basically completed and exceeded 12/12 targets set out in the Resolution, contributing worthily with the entire political system to well perform the task of local socio-economic development.

Bac Ninh Farmers' Association is considered one of the typical units, leading in the emulation movement of Emulation Cluster No. 3 in particular and in 63 provinces and cities nationwide in general.

The Provincial Farmers' Association was honored to receive the Emulation Flag from the Prime Minister in 2022; the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Association awarded the Excellent Unit Flag for the years 2018, 2019, 2021 and the Excellent Emulation Flag for the term 2018-2023; the Provincial People's Committee awarded the Excellent Emulation Flag for the period 2015-2020.

Mr. Nguyen Quoc Chung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Bac Ninh province, assessed that over the past 5 years, the Association's work and farmers' movement in Bac Ninh province have continuously grown and made important contributions to the overall development of the province.

Speaking at the Conference, Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Tuyet, Chairwoman of the Farmers' Association of Bac Ninh province affirmed that the 10th Congress of the Farmers' Association of Bac Ninh province, term 2023 - 2028, will seriously absorb the instructions of the leaders of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Association and the leaders of Bac Ninh province and will strive to continuously develop the Association's work and the farmers' movement, contributing to the comprehensive and solid development of Bac Ninh province.
