Speaking at the opening of the meeting, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Pham Viet Thanh informed that in order for Ba Ria-Vung Tau to attract investors to invest heavily in the tourism , resort and entertainment sectors as it is today, in addition to its existing potential and advantages, the province has made many efforts in recent times, trying to focus on removing bottlenecks for development.

Regarding administrative reform, Ba Ria-Vung Tau has continuously had an administrative reform index close to the asymptote for 4 years and is currently leading in the Southeast region, in the top 5 of the country. Regarding connecting traffic infrastructure, it is expected to be completed by mid-2027.

The Provincial Party Secretary emphasized that the province has never had such a full convergence of opportunities and opportunities as it does now, along with a synchronous transport infrastructure connection, which is an important foundation to increase attractiveness, creating conditions for large investors to trust and choose Ba Ria-Vung Tau as a destination to implement large-scale, dynamic and widespread projects, especially strategic investors such asSun Group Corporation with the desire that local land resources are used in the best and most reasonable way.

After the opening speech of the Provincial Party Secretary, the leader of Sun Group Corporation proposed the idea of ​​investing in the Mui Nghinh Phong commercial service complex; Cu Lao Ben Dinh urban area; the new urban area combined with Go Gang island tourism services; Bac Phuoc Thang eco-tourism area and Tay Nam Ba Ria urban area and some projects in Con Dao district.

At the same time, propose and recommend a number of legal issues related to planning, land auction procedures to select investors... for planned investment projects.

After listening to the proposals of Sun Group and the opinions of relevant departments and branches, Provincial Party Secretary Pham Viet Thanh affirmed that Ba Ria-Vung Tau always highly appreciates the capacity, vision and mission of Sun Group in implementing projects nationwide and the group's enthusiasm in researching and proposing investment projects in the province.

The Provincial Party Secretary emphasized that the province wishes to sign a memorandum of understanding on strategic cooperation with Sun Group at the investment promotion conference scheduled to take place at the end of May. The Provincial Party Secretary also proposed that Sun Group study the investment in a high-class hospital in the province.
