Implementing Directive No. 02-CT/HU of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, the Department of Education and Training of Ba Thuoc district has directed schools to integrate the work of preserving and promoting traditional cultural values of ethnic minorities, historical relics, and scenic spots into official subjects, experiential activities, and group and team activities. In addition, the Department of Education and Training of the district has also compiled and provided local education teaching materials for all four levels of education from preschool to high school. The content of local education training focuses mainly on the fields of literature, history, geography, and music .
Ba Thuoc District Boarding Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities has 202 students, mainly ethnic minorities. In addition toeducating and caring for students, the school also focuses on teaching traditions, cultural history, preserving and promoting the value of scenic spots. The school stipulates that every Monday and Thursday, students wear traditional costumes; on holidays, the school organizes many cultural, artistic, physical education and sports activities imbued with the traditional culture of ethnic minorities, such as: making ethnic dishes; performing traditional ethnic costumes; playing bamboo sticks, pushing sticks, throwing balls... In particular, in scientific and technical research competitions for secondary school students, the school guides students to do projects related to the preservation and promotion of traditional cultural values. This helps students not only understand the national cultural identity but also win high prizes in the competition. Typical projects include: Preserving and promoting the Thai ethnic language and writing; continuing to preserve and promote ethnic costumes; preserving and promoting traditional stilt houses. In addition, the school also chooses to teach Thai as a core subject, helping students learn to read and write Thai.
Ngan Thi Nga (Thai ethnic group), a 7B grade student at Ba Thuoc District Boarding Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities, said: In addition to being equipped with knowledge of the main subjects, teachers also teach us to understand the traditional cultural values of ethnic minorities. I am very proud of the cultural values of my ethnic group. In the future, I will mobilize friends and relatives to participate in preserving the cultural identity left by our ancestors.

Therefore, since the beginning of the school year, Ba Thuoc District Ethnic Boarding Secondary School has developed a plan for teaching and educating about traditional cultural values. At the same time, in coordination with the Parents' Association, organize recreational activities and sightseeing at historical sites, cultural heritages, and scenic spots in the district and province. Display artifacts including typical ethnic cultural products such as costumes, household items, musical instruments, etc. for students to visit, learn about, and use in the school's cultural and artistic activities.
