Starting July 21, YouTube will be discontinuing the Trending tab. Instead of Trending and Trending Now, YouTube will offer a personalized YouTube Charts ranking system for each field such as music , podcasts, and popular movie trailers.
Before Hoa Minzy, with the MV "Give It To Me" in 2019, Son Tung M-TP was the first Vietnamese male artist to reach top 1 trending globally on this platform.
Hoa Minzy top 1 trending YouTube globally
Hoa Minzy released the MV Bac Bling on March 1, not long after that, it sparked the Bac Bling trend, becoming a Vietnamese music phenomenon at the beginning of this year.
The MV reached the top 1 position in the weekly global Best Debut MV and Best Debut Song categories on YouTube Charts worldwide from February 28 to March 6 with 42 million views after 11 days of release.
In addition, Bac Bling also achieved many other impressive achievements. The MV reached more than 100 million views on YouTube in less than a month (as of March 29).
Continuously holding the Top 1 Trending position on YouTube Vietnam for many days, topping charts such as iTunes Vietnam, Apple Music Vietnam, Blue Wave and ZingChart.
The biggest MV of Hoa Minzy's career (up to now) also reached 1.6 billion views and audio usage on YouTube Music Vietnam Trending.

With that result, Hoa Minzy is the first and last Vietnamese female artist to reach the top 1 trending globally after YouTube officially removed the Trending section from July 21.
On the evening of July 24, Hoa Minzy wrote on her personal page: "What do you mean by 'Sí sĩ'? Please invite all the scholars to help me." "Sí" is a word recently used by young people to express extreme pride.

Not only achieving high views, MV Bac Bling also creates many additional values.
The MV introduces famous landmarks such as Dau Pagoda, Do Temple, Phu Lang pottery village, along with cultural features such as Quan Ho, Dong Ho paintings and traditional festivals, contributing to promoting Bac Ninh culture in particular and Vietnamese culture in general.
Taking advantage of the popularity of the MV, Bac Ninh province organized free tours of Bac Ninh Cultural Quintessence - Heritage Colors every Saturday and Sunday from March 8 to the end of June, attracting a large number of visitors to the homeland of Quan Ho.

On his personal TikTok on March 26, Singaporean Prime Minister Laurence Wong posted a short video about the first day of his visit to Vietnam, set to the Bac Bling remix, with more than 300,000 likes.
At a dialogue with 300 outstanding Vietnamese youth on March 24, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh praised the MV as a typical example of enlivening national culture, internationalizing a culture imbued with Vietnamese identity, and nationalizing human civilization.
Bac Bling was also performed at the Partnership Forum Summit for Green Growth and the Global Goals 2030 on April 16.
