The whole Bac Giang province has nearly 700 hectares of pineapple, concentrated in the communes: Huong Son, My Thai (Lang Giang); Bao Son, Tam Di (Luc Nam)... At this time, nearly 300 hectares are being harvested.

Lang Giang district has about 300 hectares of pineapple. Huong Son commune is the largest pineapple growing area in the district with nearly 200 hectares, half of which is currently yielding fruit.
Thanks to the application of scientific advances in production, suitable soil, and relatively favorable weather, this crop's average yield is 35-40 tons/ha, and in intensive farming areas, the yield can reach 50 tons/ha. The selling price at the garden is 12,000 VND/kg (3,000 VND higher than the same period in 2024).
Mr. Tran Van Tuyen's family in Kep 11 village, Huong Son commune is the household with the largest pineapple growing area in the commune (more than 2 hectares). This crop, Mr. Tuyen harvested nearly 100 tons (equivalent to previous years). The products were sold out as soon as they were harvested.
Luc Nam district has 170/390 hectares of pineapples being harvested, this crop is estimated to yield more than 6 thousand tons. With an average price of 12 thousand VND/kg, each hectare, people earn from 250-300 million VND.
Pineapple is the main crop of some communes in Lang Giang and Luc Nam districts. Following the direction and guidance of local authorities and functional agencies, in the coming time, farmers will continue to maintain and expand pineapple acreage, proactively apply technical advances in production, and pay attention to processing to increase product value.
