The summary report said that over the past 10 years, the study, dissemination, propaganda and implementation of Directive 05 of the Politburo and Directive 06 of the Standing Committee of Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee on "Promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle" have been continuously implemented by the Provincial Party Committee, Party committees at all levels, Party organizations, agencies and units, becoming a regular and regular practice with many rich and diverse forms.

Thereby, helping cadres and party members to have a fuller and deeper understanding of the significance and great values of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style; the self-awareness in cultivating, training morality, lifestyle, self-reflection, self-correction, and exemplary practice among cadres and party members, especially key cadres, leaders and managers at all levels, is increasingly evident; the capacity to perform public duties, sense of organization and discipline, sense of responsibility, working style and manners are increasingly improved, and the quality and efficiency of work are improved.

Every year, the Standing Committee of Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee has issued many documents to lead and direct Party committees, Party organizations, agencies and units to promote the study and follow of Uncle Ho, in conjunction with the implementation of Resolution 4 of the Central Committee and Conclusion 21 of the 13th Party Central Committee on promoting Party building and rectification and the political system; resolutely preventing, repelling and strictly handling cadres and Party members who have degraded in political ideology, ethics, lifestyle, and manifestations of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation".

At the same time, the Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee and its subordinate Party committees have also summarized, evaluated, drawn lessons from experience, and promptly commended and rewarded typical collectives and individuals in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and lifestyle according to Plan 43 of the Provincial Party Committee on "Organizing the commendation of typical examples of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and lifestyle".

To date, Bac Lieu province has commended and rewarded over 1,690 collectives and individuals. Of which, the Provincial Party Committee has commended 36 collectives and 47 individuals. Notably, 10 collectives and 23 individuals have been awarded Certificates of Merit by the Prime Minister and the Central Propaganda Department...

Speaking at the conference, Standing Deputy Secretary of Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee Huynh Quoc Viet stated: After 10 years of implementing Directive 05 of the Politburo, Directive 06 of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee has created many positive changes. Studying and following Uncle Ho has been going into depth, becoming a regular political activity of Party committees, Party organizations and Party members, contributing to building a clean and strong Party organization, preventing and repelling the degradation of political ideology, ethics, lifestyle, and manifestations of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation" within the Party.

However, besides the achieved results, there are still limitations: A few localities and units are not creative in "following", there is no replication of the model; in some places, the registration of works and tasks is still general, not specific and practical. There are still cadres, party members, civil servants and public employees who are not strict in their sense of discipline and order, lack of self-cultivation and training, and are not exemplary in their work and life...

According to the Deputy Secretary of the Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee, from July 1, 2025, Bac Lieu and Ca Mau will merge into the new Ca Mau province and organize a two-level local government. Therefore, to continue to effectively implement in the coming time, it is recommended that Party committees, authorities, agencies and units continue to lead and direct the promotion of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle in conjunction with the work of building and rectifying the Party and the political system. In particular, the exemplary role of leaders and managers is a key factor; building self-awareness, regularly, turning studying and following Uncle Ho into a voluntary action of each cadre and party member.

Linking the work of following Uncle Ho with the task of solving pressing problems; practicing thrift, improving working methods and styles; especially when implementing a two-level local government, we must aim for the important goal of being closer to the people, serving the people and businesses better; ensuring efficiency, effectiveness and efficiency; combating waste of time and materials; and making good use of and exploiting administrative headquarters after the rearrangement.

Timely detect and replicate good models; take the effectiveness of political task implementation and people's satisfaction as a measure in studying and following Uncle Ho; promptly reward, commend, and spread typical examples, especially at the grassroots level...
