Providing information at the August 2024 Press Conference, Mr. Huynh Thanh Huynh, Deputy Director of the Department of Health, said that the issuance of Resolution No. 08/2024/NQ-HDND dated July 24, 2024 by the People's Council of Dak Nong province regulating policies on attracting, treating and training and developing medical human resources in Dak Nong province will be an important policy to promote the development of human resources in the Dak Nong health sector.
The policy content in Resolution 08 of the Provincial People's Council includes: attraction policy, treatment policy and training policy for developing medical human resources. In which, the highest attraction level is for doctors with doctoral degrees, specialist II is 400 million VND/person. For doctors working at public health service units in Tuy Duc district, Dak Glong district, Forensic Medicine Center, working in the department, psychiatric field, in addition to receiving support at the corresponding level, they are also given additional support. The highest treatment policy level is 1.3 million VND/person/month.
Regarding the policy of training and developing medical human resources, the subjects are doctors working at public health service units in Dak Nong province who have training needs suitable for the development of human resources of the unit and are sent for training by competent authorities and relevant agencies, organizations and individuals in implementing the policy of training and developing medical human resources in the province.
The resolution will positively impact the quantity and quality of doctors in the health sector, meeting the increasing demand for medical examination and treatment of the people. Currently, the Department of Health has developed a plan to recruit civil servants in 2024; a training plan in 2024 and is awaiting the appraisal opinion of the Department of Home Affairs. In particular, Dak Nong province plans to attract and train about 73 doctors.
