THE SEXY AND CHARMING HIDDEN CORNER
When mentioning Binh Dinh, many people often think of Quy Nhon beach or the famous Hoang Hau beach. Few people know that there are also rocky beaches and cliffs with wild and charming beauty like "fairies" that have not yet been awakened at Lo Dieu beach (Lo Dieu village, Hoai My commune, Hoai Nhon town). About 90 km from Quy Nhon city, Lo Dieu beach is gradually becoming a new destination, attracting tourists to explore .

From Quy Nhon, visitors follow the coastal route DT639 to the coconut land of Tam Quan (Hoai Nhon town), passing through green fields and peaceful villages. Arriving at Hoai My commune, passing a small slope is the path leading to the beach. Lo Dieu rock reef appears before your eyes, with rocks of various shapes, wild and mysterious. The ancients used to praise this place with folk songs: Blue sea, white sand, yellow sunshine/ Who remembers the girl Lo Dieu/ Lo Dieu is a sea with three passes/ Hardships have been overcome, poverty has been overcome…
Over time and the erosion of wind and waves, the rocks here have taken on unique shapes. Because they have not been exploited for tourism , the scenery of Lo Dieu still retains the pristine beauty bestowed by nature. From the high cliff, looking far away is a panoramic picture of dark green mountains and forests, undulating sea waves, and the image of the people of Lo Dieu fishing village diligently making a living by the waves.

The beach here is like a giant bow, with its back leaning against the mountain, its front facing the sea, and in the middle is a green field. When the sun sets, the tide recedes, revealing rocks with strange shapes. Especially in spring, January or summer, seaweed covers the rocks, creating a unique and rare scene.
EXPERIENCE CLOSE TO THE LIFE OF FISHERMEN
When coming to Lo Dieu, visitors will be immersed in the peaceful space of the beach, admiring the majestic rocks created by nature. Each rock, each wave seems to tell a story about the heroic history of the nation.
In spring, Ganh Ngoai appears like a watercolor painting, with moss-covered rocks hidden under the clear water. In summer, Ganh Trong becomes bustling with colorful sea urchin beaches. The image of sea urchins clinging to the rocks creates a unique feature that only Lo Dieu has. Not only is it an ideal tourist destination for swimming, taking wedding photos or enjoying seafood, Lo Dieu also offers visitors close and interesting experiences with the life of fishermen.

"Coming to Lo Dieu, everyone can join the experience of rowing nets to catch fish with the locals. Rowing boats with fishermen, feeling each wave, pulling nets together and enjoying the joy of catching fresh fish. Then, go to the seafood market with the locals, choose the freshest shrimp, crabs, squid and prepare dishes with the rich flavor of the sea. The feeling of preparing the dishes you just caught will definitely be an unforgettable experience," said Mr. Nguyen Minh An (in Ho Chi Minh City).
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuan (60 years old, in Lo Dieu village, Hoai My commune) said that on sunny days, the sea water becomes clear blue, the smooth golden sand and the wild scenery will make tourists excited when they come to sightsee, swim, take pictures at Lo Dieu rock and visit Lo Dieu fishing village. According to Ms. Thuan, the seafood here is extremely fresh and the prices are reasonable. Tourists can rent huts, rent tarps to make campfires, camp, take wedding photos; buy some types of seafood caught by fishermen to process and enjoy on the spot.
NO NUMBERED TERMINAL
At the end of October 1961, the Ministry of National Defense decided to establish a military maritime transport force called Group 759 (the predecessor of Brigade 125, Naval Region 2), opening a strategic sea transport route to support the southern battlefield. From then on, the "ships without numbers" quietly moved on the "Ho Chi Minh Trail at sea", establishing resounding feats in the history of the nation.

Lo Dieu village, with its hidden terrain, favorable beaches and strong revolutionary movement, was chosen as the landing point. The Central Committee instructed the Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee to establish a specialized unit HB15 to prepare to receive the unnumbered ship at Lo Dieu.
On May 20, 2005, Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee recognized the provincial historical relic "The place where the ship without a number landed" at Lo Dieu beach.
In 2018 - 2019, with the attention of the Navy Command, the high consensus of Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee, Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee and the locality adjusted the expansion of the relic planning from 6,825 m² to 15,000 m², and at the same time invested in renovating the relic in phase 1 with a budget of over 15 billion VND.
Mr. Pham Truong, Secretary of Hoai Nhon Town Party Committee, said that Hoai Nhon Town always pays attention to promoting the great historical value of the relic "Where the ship without a number docks". This is a way to show gratitude and honor the bravery of revolutionary soldiers, the solidarity between the army and the people under the glorious flag of the Party; at the same time, turning the relic into a red address for traditional education and a meaningful "return to the source" tourist destination.
