Regarding the work of handling illegal waste dumps and gathering points for construction materials, machinery, and vehicles located in Ngoc Truc Residential Group, Dai Mo Ward, the border point with Van Phuc Ward, Ha Dong District, which Kinh te & Do thi Newspaper has reported many times, Dai Mo Ward leaders have just announced important information.

Specifically, speaking with Kinh te & Do thi reporters on the morning of February 4, Mr. Nguyen Viet Hung - Vice Chairman of Dai Mo Ward People's Committee said that the locality has made a plan and prepared to organize the recovery and clearance of the waste disposal area to hand over to the project.

According to Mr. Nguyen Viet Hung, the landfill area belongs to the Green Technology City project, which is currently underway. According to the City’s direction, in June 2025, the locality will have to complete the site clearance and hand over the site to the investor.

In a related development, the Economic & Urban reporter's observations at the dumping site on the afternoon of February 4 showed that all the soil and solid waste gathered there had been cleaned up. However, the camps and factories still exist. A large-scale dumping site with a lot of machinery, vehicles, materials and equipment is still lying around.

Previously, as Kinh te & Do thi Newspaper reported, in the border area between Dai Mo ward, Nam Tu Liem district and Van Phuc ward, Ha Dong district, there exists a "huge" waste dump with a large-scale gathering point for materials, machinery and equipment. The location of the waste dump is determined to be in the territory of Ngoc Truc residential group, Dai Mo ward.

Dai Mo ward leaders have repeatedly affirmed that they will thoroughly handle violations in the above area.
