Bamboo Airways is subject to tax debt enforcement measures

On the evening of September 26, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Director of the Binh Dinh Provincial Tax Department - said that the unit had just issued a document announcing the application of tax debt enforcement measures against Bamboo Airways Joint Stock Company.

Accordingly, the Binh Dinh Provincial Tax Department requested Bamboo Airways Joint Stock Company to closely coordinate with banks to strictly implement the Department's decisions dated August 27, 2024 on enforcement by means of withdrawing money from accounts, requesting to freeze the accounts of the enforced subjects at the State Treasury and credit institutions.

In case Bamboo Airways fails to pay the full amount of tax debt as prescribed, Tax Department Binh Dinh province will apply coercive measures to stop using invoices against this company.

Provincial Tax Department Pacify Notify Tre Viet Aviation Joint Stock Company to comply with the provisions of law; and coordinate with the Tax Department of Binh Dinh province when the company uses invoices for each occurrence during the period of forced suspension of invoice use.

"Binh Dinh Tax Department has only enforced accounts, not applied invoice enforcement against Bamboo Airways," Mr. Tuan added.
