Provincial Ethnic and Religious Affairs Committee: Visiting and wishing a Happy New Year to religious establishments

On January 16 and 17, the Provincial Ethnic and Religious Committee established 3 delegations to visit and extend New Year greetings to religious establishments in the province on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025.

The Provincial Ethnic and Religious Committee wishes a Happy New Year to the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of the province.

The delegation led by Mr. To Thanh Phuong - Head of the Provincial Ethnic and Religious Affairs Committee visited and extended New Year greetings to the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of the province, Truc Lam Bac Lieu Zen Monastery, Hung Vinh Tu Executive Board, Trieu Quang Sung Thien Duong Association (Bac Lieu City); Nang Ren Church (Bac Lieu Catholic Diocese, Vinh Loi District); Representatives of the Vietnam Evangelical Church (South), Tac Say Church, Thien Truc Pagoda (Gia Rai Town).

At the destinations, Mr. To Thanh Phuong - Head of the Provincial Ethnic and Religious Affairs Committee directly informed the dignitaries and officials about the outstanding achievements in socio -economic development and ensuring national defense and security of the province in 2024. At the same time, he also shared the key orientations and tasks in 2025.

Mr. Phuong emphasized that the common achievements of the province have had a significant contribution from religious followers, especially dignitaries and officials. Thanks to their active support, they have made an important contribution to propagating and mobilizing people to well implement the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws.

On this occasion, the Head of the Provincial Ethnic and Religious Affairs Committee sent sincere thanks to the dignitaries and officials and expressed his hope that they would continue to promote the fine traditions of religions, accompanying the Party, State and People in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
