On May 9, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Tan district coordinated with the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development (BIDV) An Giang branch to organize a ceremony to hand over Great Solidarity houses to poor and near-poor households in Phu Tan district.

This time, 10 houses were given to poor and near-poor households in the communes of Long Hoa, Phu Lam, Phu An, Phu Tho , Binh Thanh Dong, Hoa Lac, Phu Long, Phu Thanh, Cho Vam town and Phu My town.

Each house is built with an area of ^​​32m2 or more, with a structure that ensures "3 hard", tiled floors, corrugated iron roofing or stilt houses, and zinc frames. The total construction value of the houses is 650 million VND, of which BIDV Bank, An Giang branch supports 500 million VND, the rest is contributed by the locality and the family. At the ceremony, the organizers also presented each family with a gift worth 200,000 VND.
