Handing over 2 "Union Shelter" houses to union members with housing difficulties

STO - On the afternoon of May 28, the Standing Committee of the Labor Federation of Vinh Chau town held a handover ceremony of "Union Shelter" houses to 2 union member families with difficult housing circumstances.

At Khanh Nam hamlet, Khanh Hoa ward, Vinh Chau town Labor Federation organized the handover of a house with an area of ​​nearly 60m² to Ms. Tran Thi Anh Hong, a teacher at Khanh Hoa Kindergarten. The house has a total construction cost of more than 150 million VND.

On the same day, at Tan Quy hamlet, Vinh Phuoc ward, Mr. Ho Hoang Khoi, a teacher at Vinh Hiep 2 Primary School, was also handed over a house with an area of ​​54.54 square meters. The house was solidly built with a total cost of 90 million VND.

The above houses are all supported by the Soc Trang Provincial Trade Union Shelter Fund, each house is 50 million VND, built according to "three hard" standards, ensuring safety and convenience for the daily life of union members and their families.

Currently, the Vinh Chau Town Labor Federation is continuing to build 15 houses and repair 3 "Union Shelters" for 18 union member families in difficult circumstances. It is expected that the houses will be accepted and handed over before June 30, 2025.

This is a practical activity of Vinh Chau Town Trade Union to respond to Workers' Month 2025. At the same time, it actively contributes to the implementation of the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses launched by the Central and local governments.
