Attending the conference were Senior Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army; leaders and commanders of the agencies of the Ministry of National Defense , the General Staff; and commanders of the Inspectorate of the Ministry of National Defense.

Senior Lieutenant General Vo Minh Luong chaired the conference to hand over the responsibilities and tasks of the Chief Inspector of the Ministry of National Defense.

Pursuant to Decision No. 193 of the Minister of National Defense on the transfer and appointment of Lieutenant General Nguyen Quoc Duyet, Commander of the Hanoi Capital Command, to hold the position of Chief Inspector of the Ministry of National Defense to replace Lieutenant General Le Dinh Thuong, who is on leave to prepare for retirement.

At the conference, delegates heard a report on the handover of responsibilities and tasks of the Chief Inspector of the Ministry of National Defense between Lieutenant General Le Dinh Thuong (the person handing over) and Lieutenant General Nguyen Quoc Duyet (the person receiving the handover).

Speaking at the conference, Senior Lieutenant General Vo Minh Luong acknowledged and commended the contributions of Lieutenant General Le Dinh Thuong throughout his career. In his position as Chief Inspector of the Ministry of National Defense (from June 2021 to present), he has united with the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, the Inspectorate Command of the Ministry of National Defense to lead and direct the Inspectorate of the Ministry of National Defense and the Inspectorate of the National Defense to successfully complete and excellently complete many assigned tasks. Senior Lieutenant General Vo Minh Luong hopes that after retiring, Comrade Le Dinh Thuong will continue to promote the good qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers, and participate in contributing to building the locality to become increasingly prosperous.

Agreeing with the handover content at the conference, Senior Lieutenant General Vo Minh Luong congratulated Lieutenant General Nguyen Quoc Duyet on being entrusted with the new responsibility, and at the same time requested that in his new position, Lieutenant General Nguyen Quoc Duyet immediately get to work; together with comrades in the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, the Inspectorate Commander of the Ministry of National Defense continue to promote the tradition of solidarity, promote collective intelligence and the role and responsibility of each individual, focus on leading and directing the entire agency and the entire industry to unite, coordinate and cooperate with relevant agencies and units, and successfully carry out the assigned tasks.
