Promulgating toll collection rates for Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway

Vietnam Expressway Corporation (VEC) has issued a decision on toll collection for vehicles traveling on the Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway. Accordingly, the expected application date is from the second quarter of 2025.

According to this decision, the ticket price includes 8% VAT applied from now until June 30, 2025, according to the tax reduction policy in Resolution No. 174/2024/QH15 of the National Assembly , the lowest fee is 5,341 VND/trip; the highest is 446,774 VND/trip (applied to each type of vehicle and according to the distance traveled).

After June 30, 2025 or after the competent authority ends the policy of reducing value added tax, the applicable fare includes 10% VAT. Accordingly, the lowest fee is VND 5,440/trip; the highest is VND 455,048/trip (applied to each vehicle type and distance traveled).

Subjects and vehicle owners who must pay for road service use on this expressway include: vehicles using services on the Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway must pay for service use according to regulations to ensure project investment capital recovery according to the project approval decision, except for cases exempted according to the provisions of Decree 130/2024.

In early February, VEC opened two sections of the Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway, with a length of more than 10km. VEC also said that the entire Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway is expected to open to traffic in 2026. Of which, the two eastern and western sections, about 32.9km long, are expected to open to traffic on April 30.
