On November 28, the Legal Committee of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council held a meeting to review the reports submitted by the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial People's Procuracy, the Provincial People's Court, and the Provincial Civil Judgment Enforcement Department at the 12th Session of the 7th Provincial People's Council.

Based on the contents presented by the Provincial People's Committee and the opinions of the members attending the meeting, the Legal Committee of the Provincial People's Council basically agreed with the contents of the reports on the results of work in 2023 and the directions and tasks in 2024 of the Provincial People's Committee in the following areas: Receiving citizens, handling complaints and denunciations; preventing and combating corruption; preventing and combating crimes and violations of the law; practicing thrift and combating waste. The Committee also requested the Provincial People's Committee to review and supplement the reports on data, assess the results achieved, remaining problems and limitations in 2023 of the above work aspects; on that basis, propose key tasks in 2024 that are close to the local reality. Regarding the work of receiving citizens, handling complaints and denunciations, the Committee proposed to strengthen the handling of cases related to the fields of natural resources and environment. Regarding the work of preventing and combating crimes and law violations, the Provincial People's Committee needs to clarify the handling of crime reports from the people; direct the implementation of fire prevention and fighting at the grassroots level; clarify the causes and have effective solutions to address the increasing situation of property theft crimes...
In addition, the Legal Committee of the Provincial People's Council has also reviewed the 2023 work reports and 2024 tasks and directions of the units: the Provincial People's Procuracy; the Provincial People's Court and the Provincial Civil Judgment Enforcement Agency. The Committee will have a specific review report to submit to the Provincial People's Council before consideration.
