This is an event in the program series of Hue Community Ao Dai Week 2025 (from June 6 to June 15) - the highlight of Hue Summer Festival.
The Vietnamese costume parade program attracted the participation of more than 1,000 people, including many young people who love culture and traditional costumes from localities across the country.
The group departed from Nghinh Luong Dinh relic, marched along the walking street on the North bank of the Perfume River - crossed Truong Tien Bridge - Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street - the ironwood walking bridge on the South bank of the Perfume River - and stopped at the square in front of Hue National School.
With a journey of about 3km, the parade brought to Hue audiences and tourists to admire the cultural beauty of Vietnamese costumes, in which the highlight was the Vietnamese Ao Dai.
In particular, the Bach Hoa Bo Hanh group designed and restored the Royal Carriage, recreating the Nguyen Dynasty's royal caravan with ancient costumes from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, attracting much attention. Along with that, images of ancient costumes from different regions were also promoted and introduced to the public.
The program also had the participation of many Hue students wearing the traditional five-panel ao dai, spreading the love of ao dai among the young generation.
The parade "Viet Phong Hoi Tu" is not simply a visual festival but also contributes to affirming that Vietnamese traditional costumes are returning to life and spreading strongly in the community.
