On the morning of June 20, Ha Tinh Electricity Company coordinated with the People's Committee of Ky Anh district and related units to launch a campaign to clear the corridor to protect the safety corridor of the high-voltage power grid in the district.
The units mobilized 287 people divided into 10 working groups. Of which, Ha Tinh Electricity Company mobilized 197 officers and employees and Ky Anh district mobilized 90 people from the Information Command, police, militia, local authorities and network operators in the area to participate. Mr. Pham Viet Thang - Deputy Director of Ha Tinh Electricity Company delivered the opening speech. 13 specialized vehicles were mobilized to support tree cutting and pruning.
Within 1 day, the forces handled nearly 1,100 trees in the corridor and nearly 2,800 trees outside the grid corridor at more than 450 pole spaces, stretching over 35km along line 378E18.3. The main types of trees grown are acacia and cajuput, which pose many risks of violating the safety distance for electrical discharge and the risk of trees falling onto power lines. The 35KV high voltage line, Route 373, 378E18.3, is an important line supplying electricity to more than 25,000 customers in the center of Ky Anh district and the communes of Lam Hop, Ky Son, Ky Thuong, Ky Lac, Ky Tay, and Ky Trung.
The Board of Directors and Trade Union of Ha Tinh Electricity Company encouraged forces to participate in the campaign to liberate the power grid safety corridor in Ky Anh. This is a meaningful activity, contributing to ensuring safety in electricity use, preventing possible electrical incidents, making an important contribution to building an electrically safe area, ensuring stable electricity supply for daily life and production for the people.
