In the early morning of June 25, host Bahrain came from behind to defeat Pakistan 3-1 to win the AVC Nations Cup for the first time. Meanwhile, this is the second consecutive year that Pakistan has finished second.

With this year's championship, Bahrain officially has a ticket to participate in the 2027 Asian Men's Volleyball Championship. This is the playground for teams seeking tickets to participate in the 2027 World Volleyball Championship as well as the 2028 Olympics.

In the third-place match, 2024 champions Qatar defeated South Korea 3-0 to win the bronze medal. And South Korea finished fourth overall.

Indonesia finished in sixth place, after losing to Australia in the fifth-place match. Indonesia was also the highest-ranked Southeast Asian team at this year’s AVC Nations Cup. This is also the second consecutive year that the region has not had a team in the top five.

The best result of Southeast Asian men's volleyball came in 2023, when Thailand won the championship and Vietnam finished fourth.

As for the Vietnamese men's volleyball team, they left the tournament in 8th place, below 7th place Chinese Taipei. Year after year, coach Tran Dinh Tien's team is showing decreasing results. In 2023, they ranked 4th, and in 2024, they ranked 6th.

At this year's AVC Nations Cup, the Vietnamese team played well. However, they also revealed many problems. Therefore, the Vietnamese team only had 1 win and 4 losses.

Ranked 9th is Thailand. In this year's tournament, this team fell into a very strong group including host Bahrain and Indonesia. That is the reason why Thailand could not get a ticket to the quarterfinals like Vietnam.

The last two positions belong to the Philippines and New Zealand respectively.
