Each article is a story, each trip is a journey, the agricultural sector is always an endless source of topics for reporters, who are often jokingly called - farmer journalists.

Agricultural economy is identified as one of the important pillars in the development orientation of Bac Lieu . Up to now, Bac Lieu Newspaper has always reserved the best position to propagate the fields of agriculture, rural areas, farmers and new rural areas. Every week, every month, reporters in charge of the field always have special pages, columns, and articles that promptly and objectively reflect the advantages and difficulties of the industry and farmers as well as convey the thoughts, aspirations and concerns of farmers when material prices increase, weather is unfavorable, crop failure, damage due to weather... Thanks to that, major policies and resolutions on agricultural, rural and new rural development are conveyed by journalists in a vivid, timely, and most accessible way to farmers. Reporters following agriculture are also the link connecting farmers to Party committees, authorities at all levels, and specialized sectors, speaking up from the grassroots, from the fields.
I still remember the first days when I first joined Bac Lieu Newspaper, although I was temporarily assigned to be in charge of the culture section, the topics about agriculture, farmers, and new countryside really “fascinated” me. And then my dream of becoming a farmer journalist also became a reality when I was transferred to be in charge of the field I loved.
When embarking on the implementation of projects and tasks of Resolution 26, Bac Lieu's agriculture entered an unprecedented historical revolution. The decisions on crop and livestock restructuring, agricultural restructuring issued by the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee; credit policies supporting interest rates... also continued to accompany and become a great driving force for agricultural production sectors to break through in the direction of commodity production. For the press writing about agriculture, documents from reality became a "treasure" of topics for reporters to exploit and reflect. Along with the participation of the press, many marks became history such as: large-scale field models; linking consumption in production; supporting farmers, cooperatives, and cooperatives to invest in equipment; building a solid and synchronous irrigation system... Not only accompanying the agricultural sector, the press and reporters in charge of agriculture also promptly discovered and reflected many shortcomings and problems arising in the actual production conditions of farmers. The production sector continues to be reflected by local journalists in a multi-dimensional, multi-platform, in-depth and authentic manner. From there, the trust of readers is built.
After more than 10 years in the profession, being friends with farmers, but for me, each trip is a new journey, each article is a story, a puzzle, a vivid picture of the countryside, rice fields, to love and appreciate the profession more and to dedicate myself more.
