By July 1, 2025, An Giang and Kien Giang provinces will "come together" to form the new An Giang province. This is also the moment to open a new chapter, when An Giang Newspaper will merge with An Giang Radio and Television, Kien Giang Newspaper and Kien Giang Radio and Television to form the new An Giang Newspaper and Radio and Television. This is a historic turning point, opening up many opportunities but also posing many challenges. This merger creates a multimedia, multi-platform press agency with a larger scale and stronger potential than ever. This means optimizing and concentrating high-quality human resources and modern equipment from both provinces, creating a combined strength to produce higher quality and more diverse press products, from print, television, radio to digital platforms.
