The forum was attended by comrades: Le Quoc Minh, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, President of the Vietnam Journalists Association ; Nguyen Dac Vinh, member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee for Culture and Social Affairs; Hoang Trung Dung, member of the Party Central Committee, Editor-in-Chief of the Communist Magazine; and more than 400 delegates who are leaders of central and local agencies, experts, researchers, reporters, and editors participating in the event.
The forum was organized with the aim of creating conditions for press agencies, media and the public to have a deeper understanding of the role and position of cultural industries in the country's socio-economic development process; concretizing the spirit of Resolution No. 33-NQ/TW dated June 9, 2014 of the 11th Party Central Committee and Conclusion No. 76-KL/TW dated June 4, 2020 of the Politburo on building and developing Vietnamese culture and people in the new period.
At the forum, many passionate opinions were shared, clearly reflecting the key role of the press in building and developing cultural industries. In the current digital age, the press is not only a simple means of communication but also holds a special position in the value chain of the cultural industry.
The press directly participates in the content creation process, contributing to spreading traditional and modern cultural values, shaping aesthetic tastes, social awareness and promoting sustainable cultural development.

The development of cultural industry not only brings economic value but also contributes to building the image of Hai Phong people as friendly, hospitable, with deep knowledge and identity.
In the coming time, Hai Phong city will continue to implement the goals stated in Conclusion No. 96 of the 13th Politburo and Resolution No. 45 of the 12th Politburo, aiming to improve the material and spiritual life of the people on par with typical cities in the Asian region.
To realize that goal, Hai Phong will focus on investing in cultural development in a synchronous manner, commensurate with the speed of economic development. In particular, press communication work will continue to be promoted, contributing to building a sustainable cultural industry, rich in identity and highly competitive in the domestic and international markets.
