“The semi-finals will take place on August 16. Let’s wait and see which team will make it to the final?”, ASEAN Football added.

According to this media site, they commented on the first appearance of VAR technology at the Southeast Asian Women's Football Championship, which is being held in Vietnam. ASEAN Football commented: "For the first time in the history of the tournament, VAR technology has been applied since the semi-finals of this year's tournament."

“This is a big step forward for fairness and professionalism in women's football in Southeast Asia,” is still the line written on the ASEAN Football page.

Meanwhile, Thairath newspaper of Thailand borrowed the words of coach of Thai women's team Futoshi Ikeda to evaluate the strength of Vietnam women's team: "I think Vietnam women's football team is the strongest team at the moment, in the ongoing tournament. We had a very difficult match when facing them."

“In the match against the Vietnamese women's team in the group stage, I used my best players, adding young players to the field to strengthen the team, but we still had difficulties,” said coach Futoshi Ikeda.

According to the Japanese coach who is leading the women's football team of the Land of the Golden Pagoda, the large number of spectators at Lach Tray Stadium (Hai Phong) will be the next big advantage that the Vietnamese women's football team possesses.

Mr. Futoshi Ikeda shared: "When facing the Vietnamese women's football team, the away teams also have to face a large audience cheering for this team."

"The attack of the Vietnamese women's football team is very dangerous, they always find gaps in the opponent's defense," Mr. Futoshi Ikeda added, as reported by Thairath newspaper.

In addition, Mr. Futoshi Ikeda also really wants to meet the Vietnamese women's football team again in the final match on June 19, at Lach Tray Stadium. To do so, the Vietnamese women's football team must defeat U23 Australia in the semi-finals, and Thailand must defeat Myanmar also in the semi-finals (4:00 p.m. on August 16).

VFF warns of fake tickets at Lach Tray Stadium

The huge number of spectators at Lach Tray Stadium (Hai Phong) is a very good sign for the 2025 Southeast Asian Women's Football Championship. However, some people have taken advantage of the heat at Lach Tray Stadium to make profits.

This is a situation of invalid tickets being released by bad people. VFF and the Organizing Committee (OC) of the tournament advise fans to buy tickets at the correct addresses provided by VFF (with two denominations of 100,000 VND and 200,000 VND/ticket). At the same time, any act of counterfeiting tickets, if discovered, will be handled by the authorities according to the law.
