
Leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Tho City and city departments, branches and sectors took souvenir photos with the Ngo boat team of the pagoda.
Attending and sharing the joy were Ms. Nguyen Thi Hue Chi, Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Tho City; Most Venerable Tang No, Deputy Supreme Patriarch of the Central Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, President of the Association of Solidarity of Patriotic Monks and Monks of Can Tho City; leaders of departments, branches, sectors and organizations of the city.

Ms. Tran Thi Thu Thao, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Can Tho Newspaper, Radio and Television, presented flowers and gifts to congratulate the Ngo boat team of the pagoda.
This year's Ngo boat race attracted 61 teams, including 53 male Ngo boat teams competing in the 1,200m distance. The Ngo boat team from Prek On Dok pagoda competed with determination, surpassing opponents in the group stage, round of 32 teams, round of 16 teams, quarter-finals and semi-finals to advance to the final. As a result, the team won the runner-up prize in this year's race.

Leaders of Nhu Gia commune, Can Tho city, presented gifts to congratulate the Ngo boat team of Chanh pagoda Tesophon Prek On Dok.
At the ceremony, leaders of departments, branches and sectors of Can Tho city and leaders of Nhu Gia commune presented congratulatory flowers and gifts to acknowledge the brave fighting spirit of the athletes and the careful preparation of the coaching staff, contributing to creating a beautiful image of the traditional sports movement of the Khmer people.
