According to the clip recorded by the camera of this childcare facility, the incident occurred on the afternoon of March 31 at a childcare facility near Long Giang Industrial Park (Tan Lap 1 Commune, Tan Phuoc District, Tien Giang District). In the clip, the nanny was lying down and surfing the phone in the area where the children were sleeping. Suddenly, the nanny turned around and used her hands to repeatedly hit the head and face of a 1-year-old girl despite the girl's painful cries. The force of the hit was so strong that the camera recorded very clear "pop pop pop..." sounds along with the girl's loud cries.
Not to mention, while beating the girl, the nanny threw a pillow, causing a boy who was sitting to fall backwards onto the edge of the mattress.
The clip received more than 1.4 million views and more than 4.1 thousand comments after being posted. The online community was very upset and angry at the nanny's child abuse.
On April 2, initial information from the Chief of Police of Tan Lap 1 Commune, the clip was posted on social media by the mother of the abused girl. Through initial verification, the mother of the girl is from Binh Phuoc province, temporarily residing in Tan Lap 1 Commune. The mother sent the girl to a private childcare facility to go to work as a worker at a company in Long Giang Industrial Park. The Chief of Police of Tan Lap 1 Commune said: "We are taking the next steps."
