Tien Giang organizes Humanitarian Month activities in 2025

The Provincial Red Cross Society receives support and registration to carry out activities during Humanitarian Month from units.

Humanitarian Month 2024 with the theme "Humanitarian Journey - Spreading Love" will take place from May 1 to 31. The Provincial Red Cross Society wishes to call for loving hearts, compassion and responsibility, solidarity, joint efforts, solidarity, sharing of all classes of people, businesses, and philanthropists to spread good deeds to help people in difficult circumstances, vulnerable people anytime, anywhere.

Thereby, contributing to the implementation of the social security policy of the Party and State; at the same time,educating compassion and goodwill in the community.

Comrade Nguyen Thanh Dieu, Vice Chairman of Tien Giang Provincial People's Committee and Chairman of the Provincial Red Cross Society Phan Duc Thanh presented gifts to households in difficult circumstances.

Speaking at the fair, Chairman of the Red Cross Society Phan Duc Thanh said that in response to the Humanitarian Month 2025, the Red Cross Society at all levels has received the support of benefactors inside and outside the province, especially receiving valuable support from Tien Giang Provincial Lottery Company Limited; Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank) Tien Giang branch; Big Go Tien Giang Supermarket and Binh Duong Customs Department. The Society has received and organized implementation through a series of practical humanitarian support activities such as: Health care program for people; building Red Cross houses, rural traffic bridges; assisting students in difficult circumstances, vulnerable groups in society...

At the same time, we also continue to contribute to the implementation of two major programs directed by the Central Association: "Safety program for poor and disadvantaged fishermen" and "Nutrition for poor and disabled children".

At the launching ceremony, the Provincial Red Cross Society organized a Humanitarian Market with 9 booths for 400 people in difficult circumstances and with disabilities in Cho Gao, Chau Thanh districts and My Tho city with a total cost of 200 million VND and gifts from Go! My Tho.
