Tien Giang proposes to prioritize investment in the Go Cong Coastal Erosion Project (section from Rach Bun Bridge to Den Do).

In particular, Tien Giang proposed to prioritize investment in the Go Cong Coastal Erosion Project (section from Rach Bun Bridge to Den Do) according to the Prime Minister 's Conclusion Notice No. 163/TB-VPCP dated April 15, 2024. The project is about 6.8 km long with a total investment of about 336 billion VND; of which, the central budget capital is more than 302 billion VND, the local budget capital is 33.6 billion VND. Tien Giang province proposed to allocate 110 billion VND in capital in 2025 to implement the project.

Previously, in Document No. 780 sent to the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Planning and Investment (now the Ministry of Finance), the People's Committee of Tien Giang province proposed to consider adding central budget capital to the province's 2025 public investment plan to implement 11 newly started projects.

Accordingly, after reviewing the implementation status and strategic infrastructure development needs, the People's Committee of Tien Giang province proposed that the Ministry of Finance consider adding VND 3,015 billion of central budget capital to the province's public investment plan for 2025 to implement 11 newly started projects with a total investment of VND 15,015 billion. Of which, the central budget capital is proposed to be more than VND 13,513 billion, and the local budget capital is more than VND 1,500 billion.

11 projects that Tien Giang proposed to add capital include: Provincial Road 877C Project (National Highway 1 to National Highway 50, Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong - My Thuan Expressway); Hung Vuong Road Extension Project (from the center of My Tho City to National Highway 1, Expressway); Western Industrial Development Road (Provincial Road 878); Ho Chi Minh City - Long An - Tien Giang Urban Traffic Axis Project through Tien Giang Province (National Highway 50B planning); Ring Road Project - National Highway 50 bypass through the center of My Tho City; Ring Road Project - National Highway 50 bypass through the center of Go Cong City; Go Cong Coastal Erosion Project (from Rach Bun Bridge to Den Do), Go Cong Dong District, Tien Giang Province); New Data Integration Center Construction Project; Project on Investment, upgrading and expansion of Go Cong Regional General Hospital, a provincial hospital, serving the health care of people in the eastern region of the province; Project on Practical Block serving the teaching of key occupations - Tien Giang College (phase 2); Project on Teaching Equipment, Digital Transformation of Tien Giang University.
