People's Army Newspaper cooperates to present "Great Unity House" in Hoa An district, Cao Bang province

At the ceremony, journalist Le Ngoc Long - Deputy Editor-in-Chief, Chairman of the People's Army Newspaper Journalists Association in collaboration with businesses presented 160 million VND to support the construction of "Great Unity Houses" for families in difficult circumstances in Hoa An district, including: Mrs. Nong Thi Phan, Khuoi Quan hamlet, Ngu Lao commune and Mr. La Van Van, Pan Keng hamlet, Quang Trung commune. Both families are in very difficult circumstances, having lived in a makeshift, dilapidated house for a long time, without the conditions to repair it.

Also at the program, the delegation presented 100 gifts to poor households and those in difficult circumstances in the district with a total amount of 69 million VND. This is a very valuable concern and support from the People's Army Newspaper and philanthropists for Hoa An district; contributing to the good implementation of social security policies, helping poor households and those in difficult circumstances have stable housing and improve their lives.

Over the years, the Party Committee and authorities at all levels of Hoa An district have always paid attention to implementing social security policies well, considering this both a goal and a driving force for sustainable development and maintaining political and social stability.

In the period of 2021-2023, the whole district has 1,026 temporary and dilapidated houses that need to be eliminated (100% of households are poor households); the number of houses that have received support from funding sources is 491, the number of houses without capital that need support is 535 houses with an amount of more than 18 billion VND.

In particular, with responsibility and affection, the People's Army Newspaper and sponsors always join hands and contribute with local Party committees and authorities to take care of policy families, poor households, and workers in difficult circumstances in Hoa An district.
