Quang Tri Newspaper joins hands to support people in northern provinces to overcome consequences of natural disasters

In recent days, storm No. 3 and its aftermath have caused huge losses in human lives and property in the northern provinces. As of today, September 11, many areas are still cut off and isolated, the lives of people in areas affected by natural disasters and floods are extremely difficult, and are in dire need of attention and assistance from all levels, sectors and the whole society.

In order to promptly encourage people in storm and flood areas to overcome difficulties and gradually stabilize their lives, Quang Tri Newspaper organized a donation to support people in the northern provinces.

Sharing at the donation program, journalist Truong Duc Minh Tu - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Journalists Association , Editor-in-Chief of Quang Tri Newspaper, Chairman of the Quang Tri Journalists Association emphasized that for a long time, when Quang Tri was affected by natural disasters, the people of the whole country always turned to Quang Tri, turned to the Central region.

This time, when the people of the Northern provinces unfortunately encountered natural disasters, the people of Quang Tri in general and the Quang Tri journalists in particular, with all their affection, responsibility, and compassion, promoted the spirit of "mutual love and support", "the healthy leaves cover the torn leaves", joined hands to donate and support materially and spiritually to contribute with the people of the whole country to help the people in the storm and flood areas to soon overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.

In recent days, Quang Tri Newspaper has continuously published information about the damage caused by natural disasters in the Northern provinces to promptly convey to readers, thereby spreading the spirit of mutual love, sharing and support of Quang Tri people to the people of the Northern provinces affected by natural disasters. The newspaper has also promptly updated information about local organizations and philanthropists in the province joining hands to donate money and necessary food to support the North.

At the donation program, all staff of Quang Tri Newspaper and the Provincial Journalists Association Office responded and contributed more than 13 million VND to support the people of the Northern provinces.

In the coming days, Quang Tri Newspaper will continue to update the situation of flood and landslide response in the northern provinces, and at the same time hope that charitable organizations and individuals will join hands to help the people of the northern provinces that have suffered heavy losses.
