The bulletin released at 11 p.m. on August 30 by the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that storm No. 3 has strengthened to level 16 (super storm level, with wind speeds of 184 - 201 km/h), gusting above level 17. This is also the first super storm in the East Sea in 2023.

At 10:00 p.m. on August 30, the center of the storm located at about 20.9 degrees north latitude; 119.3 degrees east longitude, on the northeastern sea of the northern East Sea area, about 580 km southeast of Hong Kong (China).
In the next 24 hours, the super typhoon will move west-northwest at a speed of about 15 km/hour.
At 10 p.m. on August 31, storm No. 3 was at about 21.8 degrees north latitude - 116.9 degrees east longitude, in the northeastern sea area of the northern East Sea, about 300 km east - southeast of Hong Kong (China). The strongest wind near the storm's center was at level 14 - 15, gusting to level 17.

NATIONAL CENTER FOR HYDRO-METEOROLOGICAL FORECASTING
At about 10:00 p.m. on September 1, the center of the storm was at about 22.1 degrees north latitude - 114.7 degrees east longitude in the sea southeast of Guangdong province (China).
From the next 72 - 120 hours, the storm will move mainly in the west - southwest direction, traveling 5 - 10 km per hour, with the intensity likely to gradually decrease.
Previously, the meteorological agency said that the possibility of storm No. 3 affecting and causing strong winds above level 6 and heavy rain in coastal and inland areas of our country is not high.
The weather during the National Day holiday on September 2nd across the country is basically good, with beautiful sunshine and short-lived local thunderstorms; the Central region may have mild heat.
